Q:

A:

Hello Cheryl....Thanks for the question and fishing is good during the spring months. It is hard to predict how many fish but you will hook into some sturgeon on the trip.

Q:

If I was thinking of getting this as a gift for my husband and Dad, how busy would it be in March/April? The reason I'm asking is that my Dad's an oil man & lives in Saskatchewan and always comes out at that time of year but can never give an exact date until it's very close (due to road ban, etc.). Also, if he gets a bit seasick in rough water, how would this trip compare (on a bad day) - he does fine on ferries & whale watching boats. Is March/April a good time to go or too cold? We live out of Chilliwack - where is this exactly? Thanks!

A:

Hello Cheryl.....Thanks for the questions. First off the river is calm so sea sickness is not a problem. March and April are great months to get out on the river for some Sturgeon fishing. We do launch from Island 22 in Chilliwack for our trips. In March and April we may however leave from Fort Langley or Mission if the fishing is better down lower river. This will be decided closer to the trip. For booking - weekends tend to fill up a faster than weekdays. I hope this helps. Look forward to having you out on the river.
