Q:

Our children gave us a 6 months membership over 7 years ago which we did not renew. Can we do this? If so, can I buy one for me and a gift for my husband?

JEANNE B.  asked on  Mar 5, 2012

A:

Hi Jeanne
Sorry for the delay. I'm very sorry, but this Groupon is only valid for new members, so if you've previously had a membership you would not be eligible for this Groupon.

Abbie D.  from  Self  replied on  Mar 7, 2012

Q:

Can I redeem my groupon at one location, but work out at any of the locations during the duration of my groupon? Or can I only go to the location I redeem it at?

Ashley T.  asked on  Mar 6, 2012

A:

Hi Ashley
A membership is valid for the whole city, so you can go to any of the locations participating in this offer.

Q:

So, A family membership includes complete access, right? No extra fee for child watch, classes, or kiddo access to the pool?

rebecca l.  asked on  Mar 6, 2012

A:

Hi Rebecca
Sorry for the delay. Yes, that's correct - childcare is included in the household membership. Access to the pool is also included in the household membership.

Q:

Is childcare available/included?

Nicki J.  asked on  Mar 6, 2012

A:

Hi Nicki
My apologies for the delay. Childcare is not included in the individual membership, but you can pay for it as you go. It is included in the household membership, so there would be no additional cost for childcare with that option.

Abbie D.  from  Self  replied on  Mar 7, 2012

Q:

Because it's a single membership, is childcare included?

Amy M.  asked on  Mar 6, 2012

A:

Hi Amy
Sorry for the delay. No, childcare is not included in the individual membership. However, it is included in household memberships, and you can pay for it as you go as well if that's your preference.

Q:

What happens after two months when a membership is purchased at YMCA? How much does the membership go up to for an individual or a family? Thanks

Mary B.  asked on  Mar 5, 2012

A:

Hi Mary
Very sorry for the delay. To estimate the cost for a membership, please use the YMCA of Greater Kansas City's rate calculator, which you can find here. Just plug your information in, and the rate calculator will give you an accurate quote for your membership.
