Q:

Would you be able to accommodate a WWII veteran (and former private pilot) that is now mostly in a wheelchair? He has limited mobility with a walker.

Becky J.  asked on  Oct 4, 2013

A:

Yes, it would be our honor. He will need to be willing to have our crew members assist him, which may involve lifting him from his chair into the seat, just depends on what he can do himself. There is an airstair door into the plane...we've assisted many wheelchair passengers. We ask WWII vets to sign the inside of the plane :)

Q:

Can you extend the expiration date? I want to buy it for a Christmas gift. It would be practically expired by the time I gave it away.

A:

As long as they aren't trying to use it on a Christmas light flight, they can use it on any scenic daylight flight offered during the next year. Thanks!!!

Q:

After WWII my dad flew the DC-3 for American Airlines. This was the type aircraft my twin and I flew in as passengers with my dad as one of the pilots. I would like to know what price I could get for five or six seats, and I would like to ride in the same seat as I did at the age of 4. Would this be possible. I want to take my four year old granddaughter on her first ride in the same type plane. I look forward to your reply.

A:

Price offered in deal is per person or for two, so you would just need to buy the number required, if you need 5 seats, then 2 of the two seat offers and one single seat offer. We do not assign seats, it's boarded similar to Southwest. Also, please keep in mind that DC3s were the commercial version of this aircraft, C47s are the military version, so the chances of our aircraft offering the same seat configuration that you flew in many years ago are slim. Thanks!!!
