About Green Beans Coffee Omaha
While living in Saudi Arabia, brothers Jason and Jon Araghi dreamed of opening their own Seattle-style coffeehouse. Turns out they weren't the only ones dreaming about the scents of roasting beans and spicy chai—upon opening their first shop (located inside a furniture store), they began to get steady business from American soldiers who would drive 45 minutes just for a caffeine fix. Inspiration struck, and before long, the brothers made a deal to open up the first Green Bean's Coffee just outside the Eskan Village base.
Nearly two decades later, Green Bean's Coffee has grown to 2 independently owned locations and 68 corporately owned locations in nine countries, all located on or near U.S. military bases. Each cozy cafe serves premium coffees and teas, as well as specialty drinks like mochas, frappes, and spiced apple cider, along with a selection of sandwiches, salads, and delectable pastries. But the sweetest offering of all, however, may be Green Bean's Cup of Joe program, which allows customers to send a letter and a fresh cup of coffee to an active service member as a token of thanks for their sacrifice.
