Absolutely wonderful! Being a farm, I wasn't sure about the walking conditions, so I brought our rain boots to wear, but the walkways are hard, packed sand and will not muck up your shoes. I brought 3 boys, ages 4, 11 & 13, and all of them had an absolute blast! We visited in mid-February and the weather was perfect. This was a Special Day with Monster Trucks and Cowboys, so no guided tours. We had never been before, but I really liked the freedom of walking around on our own. Most of the entire area is shaded with mighty oaks and the beautiful call of the ornate male peacock fills the air, transporting you to a simpler, more peaceful time as you walk around enjoying nature in all of its glory. They have plenty of covered picnic benches for lunch (and wheelbarrows to borrow to haul your food!) They also have a large restroom facility and a very large outside hand washing station for those that do not need to go into the restrooms. (Although there are plenty of sinks inside as well.) Each petting station has a hand sanitizer to keep hands clean; however, I suggest bringing your own along with wipes. There are 2 white sand play areas for the little ones with sand toys, slides, swings and play sets. There is a building with, what appeared to be toys and small play sets for the really little ones. (We did not go inside to inspect.) I was delightfully surprised to learn that most animal areas had attendants giving (yes, GIVING - not selling) food so we could feed the goats, sheep, guinea pigs, rabbits, pigs and much more! My boys could not decide if the train, catching chickens, milking "Bell" the cow or the cool slides were their favorite! We had just been to a local amusement park the week prior, and ALL three of my boys said they had more fun at Green Meadows Farm! We look forward to coming back very soon!
