Commonly Asked Questions

Q:

How high can they go???

Jerry T.  asked on  Oct 3, 2012

A:

It's not the height of the tree but how high (15 feet or think half again as high as a single story house) we can cut. Trees higher than that can be taken care of but not under this Groupon deal because they require a lift truck.

Q:

Does the Green Team trimming deal apply to bushes as well as trees or just trees? Thanks.

Ron K.  asked on  Oct 3, 2012

A:

We do shrub pruning but that is separate from tree pruning in that we use different equipment and it will take a lot more haul off ability. You might wait for a possible Shrub Pruning Groupon or call for an estimate of what your property would cost to do this fall.

Q:

Do you cut trees down as well? I have tree in my backyard 35 feet, maybe taller. Too close to the house and back patio.

Ahmad N.  asked on  Oct 4, 2012

A:

Glad to take a free look at it but the Groupon does not apply to tree removals above 15 feet.

Q:

What if our trees are taller than 15 ft? Would this offer be good for tree trimming up to 15ft and then a prorate for the taller parts? how would that work?

Erik A.  asked on  Oct 3, 2012

A:

Yes it can Erik but the best way to handle that is to have a free evaluation done first to see what you are dealing with. Email or phone me at 631-0001 and I'll make an appointment to take a look at it for you so you know for sure.

Q:

I have 12 arborvitaes in my backyard that are about 15 feet tall. I'd like them to be maybe 10 feet tall. Does this apply?

Tom D.  asked on  Oct 3, 2012

A:

Arborvitaes are going to be put under the shrub category just because of the type of equipment needed on that job and the amount of haul off - the three yard maximum with the Groupon deal is about a pickup load with racks - 12 plants of that size will take triple that. I can do the job but it doesn't fall under this particular Groupon offer - you may want to wait for a shrub offer. Hope that helps answer the question.

Q:

I have two trees that are only about 20 years old, but they both have some kind of problem. They have never been sprayed for bugs that I am aware of and they don't look like they need to be trimmed really, but they need to be looked at to determine what the problem is with them, so that they will grow back and look good next spring. What would it cost for you to come out and look at my two trees and then tell me what needs to be done...with you possibly spraying the trees, or fixing what the problem is? I couldn't tell you what the trees are, but they are about 30 feet tall. I live in Meridian.

Rodney F.  asked on  Oct 3, 2012

A:

I do evaluations at no charge, simply contact me at 631-0001 to set up a time to look at them.
