$10 for $20 Worth of Upscale Italian Cuisine

Chefs fill oven-baked mushroom caps with veal, pork, and spinach ($6.99), toss grilled chicken and penne pasta in gorgonzola-cream sauce ($9.59), and top flatbread with smoked mozzarella and roasted-red-pepper-sauce ($9.39). See the full lunch and dinner menus.

The family behind Grisanti's draws upon nearly four decades in business while crafting Italian dishes from recipes they’ve developed through the years. Wreaths of steam twist around chefs as they sprinkle spices into homemade soups, and eggplant parmesan cooks to the golden color of an alchemist’s business card. Hickory-smoked gouda, parmesan, and romano cheeses melt across pizzas, complemented by red and white wines from California and Italy. The glasses sing together in toasts in the restaurant's open storefront or private dining rooms modeled after scenic Italian locales such as a Venetian courtyard and Super Mario's chalet.:m]]

Customer Reviews

The meal was good, we enjoyed everything up until we paid & presented the Groupon. The server said something like the manager will take care of that for you. We waited, which seemed odd then the manager came to our table to give us our bill. That was ackward & has never happened before when using Groupon at other restaurants, etc. We paid with credit card & shortly after, as we walked out, the Manager, came out of the bar area & told us there was a problem with the Groupon. She showed us a mobile app device, we assured her the Groupon was perfectly good, valid & gave her our name, address, phone. She said she would take it up with the owner the next day & they would call if there was a problem. WEIRD--that was our last impression of an otherwise good dining experience.
