More Questions and Answers

Q:

The Fine Print says one Groupon per table. If 4 couples each buy a Groupon and want to sit at one table can each couple use their Groupon at the same meal?

Ronald D.  asked on  Mar 25, 2013

A:

Thanks for the question. That iten in the fine print is standard Groupon language, but I personally am not against people coming out together and enjoying at the same table. The only issue becomes if the table is too large for the kitchen to put food out in a timely manner, so we tend to limit the size to 8 or so. But please note that the menu is not available for private group dining Cheers Ed

Q:

We have a group of 5 - I'm wondering if there is a regular prix fixe menu (3 courses - we can share the appetizer in the Groupon deal) available for our 5th person? If yes, how much would that be?

Amy P.  asked on  Mar 25, 2013

A:

Thanks for your interest. This Groupon is valid only as offered and cannot be altered. Sorry for any inconvenience. However, if you are interested in additional services, I suggest contacting the business directly.

Q:

If you didn't order anything else is the bill 39.99 plus tax and gratuity?

Norm K.  asked on  Mar 22, 2013

A:

Great question. Thank you for asking. You buy the Groupon for $39.99 from Groupon directly - $39.99 total. At the restaurant we punch in the menu price, apply the Groupon to the cost of the meal (in this case $39.99). So you will be basically charged the HST on the $39.99 and whatever gratuity, correct. That's it. Cheers - Ed

Q:

Are you able to accommodate gluten free?

Laura T.  asked on  Mar 21, 2013

A:

Thanks for your question. The menu absolutely will be able to accommodate gluten free with many of the items . As well, the Chef will always do what he can to make items gluten-free that may not otherwise be by not using any ingredients that have gluten where possible. On this menu, the soup and salad are gluten free. The fish & steak is gluten free and our feature is generally gluten free. The chocolate dessert and cheese (without crostini) is also gluten free & we also have sorbet on hand as well if that might be preferred because of the gluten issue. Please note that based on CFIA standards we must warn that there may be cross-contamination because we do use products with gluten in the kitchen, but we make every cautious effort when dealing with allergies and intolerances.
