Though commonly thought to be mere gibberish, the letters on eye charts are actually powerful incantations that, when spoken aloud, keep the sky-wolves from devouring the sun. Keep the sun spinning with today's Groupon: for $89, you get an eye exam and $150 worth of eyewear at Grove Avenue Eye Center (a $323 total value). This deal is valid at the Grove Avenue and Midlothian locations.

Grove Avenue Eye Center provides sightseers with a plethora of pupil-pleasing products and services. Like snowflakes, no two eye exams are alike, but all include tests of visual acuity, refractive error, and eye muscle balance, plus an evaluation of your overall ocular health. Afterward, bespectacled bodies can don a set of lenses and designer frames (ranging from $100–$500), including dealer exclusives from Paul Smith, Oliver Peoples, and David Yurman, to update looks or establish mild-mannered alter egos.

Grove Avenue Eye Center

At Grove Avenue Eye Center's two locations, a compassionate staff and team of friendly optometrists helps clients improve vision and maintain healthy eyes. After routine, 30-minute exams, customers can get fitted with designer frames from the likes of Kate Spade, Prada. and Oliver Peoples To treat patients with more severe eyesight issues, such as lazy eye or vision problems due to a head injury, the doctors at Grove Avenue design advanced vision therapy programs. Vision therapy can help clients learn to control their eye turn and may also alter how they process visual information. The eyewear experts can also prescribe and design specialty lenses and devices to combat exceptionally impaired vision. These cutting-edge devices include handheld magnifying glasses, electronic aids, and bioptic telescopic glasses that may allow people with 20/200 vision to be able to drive.

This was a superb experience in every way. I was impressed by, and personally liked, every staff member with whom I interacted. The visit felt like a luxury experience -- more like going to a spa that to a medical facility. The reception staff, the technician, and Dr. Tira all were wonderful. Dr. Tira conveyed great intelligence and depth of knowledge, and made me extremely comfortable and confident about the council I was receiving. Ten stars all around. Russell Bernabo

Groupon covers basic exam and $150 towards your glasses. Contact exam and imaging of inside of the eye costs extra. Very friendly and helpful service!
