Donations fund a public gallery to display the work of local artists in an empty storefront in downtown Annapolis
What You'll Get
The Issue: Empty Storefronts in Downtown Annapolis
Empty storefronts litter the streets of downtown Annapolis, their lifeless exteriors marring the otherwise bustling environment. Maryland Federation of Art would like to fill these storefronts with art to rejuvenate the shopping district with life and color. An additional aim of the project would be to attract patrons to nearby dining and shopping establishments in the area to help further enliven it.
The Campaign: Establishing Pop-Up Art Gallery in Storefront
If this Grassroots campaign raises $750, then Maryland Federation of Art can fund a pop-up art gallery to fill an empty storefront for one week. Each additional $750 will allow the pop-up art gallery to run for another week. The gallery would use space in an empty storefront in downtown Annapolis and exhibit pieces from local artists at no charge for the viewing public.
