The Campaign: Building a Hurricane Shelter for a Lion
If this Grassroots campaign raises $500, then Survival Outreach Sanctuary can build a hurricane and inclement-weather shelter for Savannah the lioness. An additional $500 raised will build a similar enclosure for Rajah the tiger. After that, further $10 donations will go toward funding medical supplies for the older animals at the sanctuary. The shelters will ensure the cats can live in safety and comfort while waiting out inclement weather.

About Survival Outreach Sanctuary
Survival Outreach Sanctuary for Wildlife (SOS) provides permanent homes for exotic animals that were abandoned by their families or breeders or found injured in the woods. The volunteer-powered organization houses a variety of wild animals including wolves, big cats such as tigers and cougars, and Bosco, a white-faced brown lemur. Permanent residents live in large natural enclosures, and injured animals receive medical care and rehabilitation before returning to the wild. SOS volunteers also conduct outreach programs and distribute newsletters to inform people about protecting animals and the earth's biological diversity.
