What You'll Get
The Issue: Homebound Men Living Away from Families
Williamson-Burnet County Opportunities/Meals on Wheels' program serves meals to approximately 400 men throughout the week. Most of the program's clients live alone, or are caregivers for spouses with disabilities, and their families typically don't live in the area.
The Campaign: Provide Father's Day Cards and Meals
If this Grassroots campaign raises $400, then Williamson-Burnet County Opportunities/Meals on Wheels can provide 40 of its homebound male clients in Williamson and Burnet Counties with Father's Day cards and meals, along with visits from Meals on Wheels volunteers. Each additional $10 donation will provide another homebound man with a meal and Father's Day card.
