Q:

Can I have my personal auto insurance cover this or do I need to buy insurance through your business on the driving day?

Bonnie M.  asked on  Mar 27, 2013

A:

You will use your personal auto insurance. We do not sell insurance through our business.

Q:

Are you able to pick which of the two cars to drive? Such as, when you reserve your spot, can you ask for the Ferrari if you so choose?

Dusty F.  asked on  Mar 27, 2013

A:

We will have a Ferrari F430 and a Lamborghini Gallardo at the event. You will be able to choose your car when you arrive at the event.

Q:

I see that the deal expires in December yet there are only two weekends available one in March and one in April- will other weekends be offered?

Susan a.  asked on  Mar 25, 2013

A:

Unfortunately, there is no way to extend the expiration date because it is part of the agreement terms that we worked out with the business prior to offering the deal.

Q:

I'm wondering if there will be professional drivers onsite, I would like to, if possible, send a young man that I mentor for a ride.

Mike W.  asked on  Mar 24, 2013

A:

There are professional drivers onsite, and they are happy to give a fun ride to those under 21. Just reserve your spot as you would for your own drive, but put the young man's information in as the "driver." We will not need insurance verification for a ride-along.

Q:

Does this Experience allow the driver to reach high speeds in the car, or does it have a cut off speed?? thanks

Lidia A.  asked on  Mar 22, 2013

A:

The car does not have a cut off speed, but it is an autocross which rewards precise driving over high speed. Our pros can approach 100mph on the course, but most average skill levels will achieve speeds between 60 and 80. It's more about experiencing the car than trying to go as fast as you can.

Q:

How long is the track 1-2-3- miles long or longer?

Lizz Z.  asked on  Mar 22, 2013

A:

It is three laps of a closed autocross course. The track length varies from location to location but is usually a bit less than a mile. Visit our Face book page and watch the Dream Car Sprint video - that will give you a great idea of what the event is like. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10151497576670376

Q:

I have done a couple of these types of events in the past where if you redline, you are charged $3k++. Having this hung over your head obviously takes the fun out of it. Are there any types of limitations like this?

Travis T.  asked on  Mar 22, 2013

A:

We do not tolerate abuse of the cars, and there should be no need to redline the engine. Each driver is responsible for their actions and full-coverage auto insurance is required to drive.
