Q:

Up to how many person can you bring with you to watch you do this? Say your wife and daughters ( 2 ) ?

Vincie c.  asked on  May 13, 2013

A:

As many as you'd like. There are limited seats at the event, but as long as they don't mind standing, there is plenty of room to watch.

Q:

In the description it states "high speed drive"; however once you click Buy it says "ride". Does the participant actually get to drive the car or is this just a ride along?

Mike S.  asked on  May 13, 2013

A:

As long as they are over the age of 21, they can drive. Anyone under 21 can do a ride-along.

Q:

I just bought a Groupon for the Peru, Indiana event. When I go to schedule the drive, it appears full price will be charged. Where do I schedule if I bought a Groupon offer?

Deborah M.  asked on  May 12, 2013

A:

You have the option to enter your "prepaid voucher" instead of payment.

Q:

Couple questions... 1. nevermind asked and answered above - Hubby's a big guy but should fit in some Lambo it appears... I'll ask instead... You we make sure it's a Lambo... He'd only want that kind I know. (Peru, Indiana) 2. While you can't control what other client/drivers do I know... :) You don't have half dressed females running around or anyone hanging on the guys or other offensive things going on...Is this strickly a class act? I wouldn't spend money on that.... or have my family around it so need to know first... Thank you~

Leslie A.  asked on  May 10, 2013

A:

I would suggest contacting Gotham Dream Cars directly for more specific information regarding your personal car preferences as well as questions about course conduct.

Q:

Hi, is it possible to get a layout of the track; I'm interested in the Peru, IN (Grissom AFB) location. Thanks, Scott Weddle

Scott W.  asked on  May 10, 2013

A:

Each course is different and designed for the specific venue based on safety and fun factor! We don't have the layout in advance of the event, because our pros set it up the morning of the event based on conditions and layout of the facility.

Q:

What happens if it rains? Also, when do you show proof of insurance? If each ride lasts 5 minutes, can 5 guys schedule at same time and watch each other? Thank you.

Kay R.  asked on  May 9, 2013

A:

We run rain or shine and like any other outdoor sporting event, only delay or cancel if conditions are deemed unsafe. You can enter your insurance information online after making your reservation. You can also bring it to the event with you. There is one car on track at a time, so everyone can reserve the same time slot and still watch each other.

Q:

Are these cars manual or automatic?

Cristy B.  asked on  May 9, 2013

A:

All cars have paddle shifting transmissions. They can be put in a fully automatic mode as well.

Q:

Do you provide insurance for an additional fee?

James E.  asked on  May 9, 2013

A:

We do not provide any insurance options. You either need your auto insurance policy or can put down a $5,000 security deposit to drive the vehicle. Otherwise, you are welcome to ride along as a passenger, while the professional drives.

Q:

Being an autocross track is it pretty tight? What gears are typically used?

James E.  asked on  May 9, 2013

A:

We try to design autocross tracks with fewer technical sections and a bit smoother and more wide open than your standard autocross. The bulk of the course will be done in 2nd gear. Some participants reach 3rd gear on the straightaways.
