The only cycling track in the City of Chicago, Chicago Velo Campus, promotes cycling through training classes, noncompetitive rides, and youth educational programs. Its location on the South Side aims to boost local awareness of cycling, create economic opportunities, and provide youth in the community with a safe place to go after school.

Through its fix-to-own program, Chicago Velo Campus partners with local schools such as Epic Academy to host a six-week program where youth can gain new skills in bike mechanics. Classes meet twice weekly, and Chicago Velo Campus supplies all the necessary materials for students to bring previously used bicycles back to life. Participants keep their finished bikes after the program, providing them with a safe and efficient means of transportation to school or work.

Join G-Team and donate $10 to help young people learn bike maintenance and gain their own bicycle on the city's South Side. If G-Team members raise $170, then Chicago Velo Campus can sponsor one student in its six-week fix-to-own program. Each youth participant will receive one adjustable helmet, a U-lock, one stainless-steel rubber-coated cable, a front and rear light, one pair of cycling gloves, and the Park Tool Big Blue Book about bike repair and maintenance. Each additional $165 raised will sponsor another youth in the fix-to-own program.
