According to the Columbus Literacy Council, approximately 13% of adults in Franklin County lack basic reading, writing, and math skills. As a result, many face obstacles when it comes to maintaining employment and functioning effectively in their daily lives. The Ohio Literacy Network streams adult-education services online—a program used by more than 25,000 Ohio adults to prepare for the GED and develop workplace and computer skills. In addition to its online educational services, The Ohio Literacy Network connects Ohioans to local literacy and GED programs. Donations will help ensure that the organization can continue to cover the costs of its educational and community-outreach programs.
Join G-Team and donate $10 to help adults in Ohio improve their reading, writing, and other basic skills. If G-Team members raise $500, then The Ohio Literacy Network can provide one month of online learning and self-improvement literacy skills to adults throughout Ohio.
Unlike traditional Groupon deals, G-Team campaigns typically don't offer you a "discount" or "savings." So "buyer" beware—when you click "Buy" to donate your time or money to a worthwhile G-Team cause, the only discount you may receive is 100% off free, priceless karma. Read more about G-Team.
