Q:

Hi Sylvia, I wont have time to come in for a consultation so I was wondering, if I purchase the 3 sessions and I only need 1 or 2 sessions of the Laser Genesis for my acne scars, could I use the remaining sessions for microdermabrasion? It would all be on the same area (face)

Q:

I usually have a microdermabrasion facial every 6weeks, I have no major skin issues, except that I would like to keep my skin blemish free. what is included in the microdermabrasion, is it a "facial" (including cleansing, massage, etxtractions, and masks)? what is the difference of microdermabrasion and the laser genesis treatment-and again what is included?

donna  asked on  Jan 28, 2013

A:

Hi there, we no cleanse, massage and some extractions are done...no masks. Laser Gensis is a non-ablative skin rejuvenation that even out tone and texture of your skin, decreases pore sizes as well as redness.

Q:

Which laser treatment is better suited for the treatment of acne discolouration (red spots left after pimple disappears) -the Fraxel or Laser Genesis? How many treatments would be required? If Fraxel treatment is better suited, would it be possible to substitute the Laser Genesis for Fraxel? Thank you, Natalie

natalie l.  asked on  Jan 27, 2013

A:

Hi Natalie, Laser Genesis is great at treating red scars. Fraxel is used to treat deep "puck mark" type acne scars. Unfortunately you can not substitute Fraxel for Genesis. We use the Derma Sweep for our dermabrasions. It uses a soft brush to remove dead skin from your skin and they we infuse your skin with a serum tailored to your skin needs...is you are acne prone we would use salicylic acid.
