Otherworldly screams wrack the dilapidated walls of the 1939-built horse-racing complex that devolves into the Stables of Terror in the weeks creeping up to Halloween. Terrified twosomes enter the haunted labyrinth of the stables between 8 p.m. and 12 a.m., steeling their nerves for the adventure to come. Dim, foggy passageways swallow them as they dodge ghouls, forsaken jockeys, and the ghosts of stable hands still waiting for their tips.
