What You'll Get
Museum acquisitions always instill wonder in children who have become bored with their own closet full of skeletons. Discover a body of knowledge with today's Groupon: for $42, you get a classic children's birthday party at Gull Wings Children's Museum (an $85 value).
For more than 20 years this nonprofit children's museum has captivated pintsize minds with engaging exhibits that explore the natural world, with an emphasis on the local environment. The classic children's party allows the birthday boy or girl and up to 19 members of their afterschool entourage to experience Gull Wings' interactive areas. Party-goers can get down and dirty in Fossil Quest!, a hands-on site educating youngsters on extinct animals as they explore a paleontological dig site or the Blast Off area, a space exploration exhibit allowing tykes to take on the responsibilities of an astronaut, such as conducting science experiments and taking extra-terrestrial tourists on starlit moonwalks. During the party, parents and kids have full use of the party room for two hours, as well as the kitchen, microwave, and fridge, and each curious kiddie receives a goody bag.

About Gull Wings Children's Museum
Gull Wings Children's Museum appeals to many childhood aspirations as it teaches—the Blast Off area lets kids pretend to be astronauts, the Home Town Hero exhibit lets them play firefighters, and the Lego-a-Go-Go room lets them portray immobile plastic bricks. Aside from the many exhibits, there are a series of regular programs in reading, science, and other subjects. The museum also hosts special events such as storytellers and dance groups.
