A:

Are you purchasing on the US Webstore? And you're using the code marked as "redemption code" on your Groupon? If you are and it's still not working, please email NicholeW@americanapparel.net

Q:

In the questions here, it says that the groupon can be used toward nail polish. When I entered my code, the site gave me an error message that the groupon only applied to certain items and would not give the credit. Please advise.

Hannah F.  asked on  Nov 20, 2011

A:

Hi, Hannah; Are you purchasing off the US online store? As long as you're not purchasing the 3 pack of polish, the nail polish should apply to the order.

May I use the online code in-store purchase?

yichen g.  asked on  Nov 19, 2011

The Groupon is only valid for the option purchased. If you wish to redeem the Groupon in-store, you must purchase one of the in-store options.

You select your desired option when you click the green "Buy" button.

Q:

If I get something online with my Groupon coupon, and I change my mind, can I ship it back for a refund in the original form of purchase? Or am I only allowed to exchange/get in-store credit?

Linglu Z.  asked on  Nov 19, 2011

A:

You must ship it back to the place of purchase (in this case the online store). For more information on how to make a return to our online store, you can click here: http://store.americanapparel.net/returnpolicy.html Thanks!

Q:

My daughter just went to American Apparel, San Antonio-La Cantera and the girl would not redeem for 50 bucks, though I paid the 25.00 for the 50.00 in merchandise. She said it was worth 25.00 only, well that doesn't make sense. Now my daughter has to make another trip, maybe the employees should be informed.

Stacey  asked on  Nov 19, 2011

A:

Hi, Stacey; I'm so sorry for the trouble. I just personally contacted the store and the manager will be going over the deal with all staff again so this will not be an issue in the future. Again, so sorry. Thanks.
