Nationally & internationally known comedians dispense laughter fuel as guests enjoy one year of tickets to all non-special events
Although it’s been ostracized by the five traditional senses, the sense of humor is the only thing that enables human beings to detect a rubber chicken creeping up from behind. Stay on guard with today’s Groupon to Morty’s Comedy Joint.
- For $60, you get a one-year pass for two (a $750 value). Passes include two tickets for every non-special event show through 2012.
- For $15, you get two tickets to any comedy show (up to a $30 value).<p>
After years of scouring the country to round up professional comedians to solicit laughs, Morty’s unleashes the jokesters during a variety of uproariously funny shows. On December 9 and 10, funnyman Eddie Brill takes a break from warming up Late Show with David Letterman audiences to kindle the rich and robust laughs that earned him the ECNY’s first Legend award. On January 12–14, Morty’s opens its giggle-strewn doorways to Joey Medina, who fuses urban and mainstream comedy skills gleaned from more than 50 television appearances and a starring gig in The Original Latin Kings of Comedy.
All special events will be designated as a “Special Event” in parentheses after the event’s name; for an example of a special events page, click here. Though not included in today’s deal, guests can silence slow-clapping tummy grumbles with Morty’s bar-style menu and lubricate chuckle tubes with drinks that include microbrews ($4.75/bottle), merlot ($5.50/glass), and 23-ounce frozen tropical concoctions ($10.50–$11.25). Because the shows are popular and seating is first come, first served, Morty’s recommends that guests show up 30 minutes before showtime.
