Indulge Wine School's staff of educators expands wine knowledge with ease, having turned the revelry-steeped tassels of more than 1,800 graduates. Classes of 12–20 follow trained professionals through a glassy meadow of six different wines, including red, white, sparkling, and dessert varietals. Grape elixirs may include bottles from Nexus Wines and Barnard Griffin. Students swirl and sip their study materials, nibble complimentary appetizers, and fill their mental trivia tanks with factoids on the history and production of wine, different grapes, and appropriate word choices for commenting on an unfamiliar wine's legs. Every class ends with a question-and-answer session, during which potation professors shine a light on oenophilic mysteries such as tannin content, regional differences, and how to lead a horse to wine but keep him from drinking it. Afterward, students continue to explore fermented philosophies at home with a complimentary electronic copy of Indulge Wine School's book A Fun and Informative Introduction to the Wonderful World of Wine, a food and wine pairing chart, and a top ten list of wine buying tips.

Indulge Bistro & Wine Bar

At Indulge Bistro & Wine Bar, there are many ways to treat yourself—more than 75, to be specific. That’s the approximate count of the international and regional wines that populate the racks at the wine bar, which earned Open Table’s 2012 Top 100 Notable Wine Lists in the USA award. Ranging from New Zealand sauvignon blanc to Italian prosecco and syrah made in Colorado, diners have seemingly limitless pairing options to complement the kitchen’s bistro cuisine: margherita classico flatbreads, fried calamari, and house-made gnocchi just to name a few dishes. The sommelier can also make wine and food pairing suggestions. As you sip and dine, the floor-to-ceiling windows provide awe-inspiring views of the Front Range and the patio offers a place to sink into plush couches beside a fire pit.

I met three friends here for a late lunch/early dinner and to use a Groupon. The server, I wish I could remember her name, was a delight. Very knowledgeable of the wine, which is great being that this is a wine bar. I ordered the Tony Soprano flat bread pizza and substituted the marinara for the spicy marinara they have on the Mexican flat bread. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy . The spicy marinara was an excellent choice. One of the gals had the guacamole with rare tuna chunks on top. It was absolutely delicious. Another had the bruschetta which was a very nice light option. The third got the sliders with sweet potato fries. I'm normally not a sweet potato fan, but they were super crispy with sea salt and garlic salt on them and I couldn't stop eating them. We all shared each other's food and had great girl time together. Great experience and I will definitely be back. Just not sure when as it is kind of far from my home.
