The fine print says it may take 'up' to 24 hours. How do we know when it's ready to be used? Is there a way to verify before heading to the store?

You will receive an email receipt that will let you know you can sign in and print your Groupon. The email will come from email@example.com, so make sure it doesn't get stuck in your spam folder.
Even if you don't see an email, you can always sign in at http://www.groupon.com by clicking on the "Sign in" link in the upper right corner of the page.
