Q:

Thanks for the answer on my previous question! What if we have experience riding, but in a different discipline? Will we be able to spend more time in the saddle? Also, when we call in to schedule the lesson, what happens if there are no group lessons during the times we are available? Will this deal still be honoured if there are only one or 2 people in that session?

Hello Again, Regarding your riding experience and how much time you would spend on the horse. The only thing that it would affect is that you would probably be able to spend less time on the wooden horses and more time on the real horses. So it could be like. 20-30 on the wooden horses and then 30-60 on the real horses. In regards to booking your lesson. If by chance there are no other people available to take the lesson with you then you guys will have your own lesson. Hope this helps, The Polo Org.

Q:

Do you guys open during the winter? I mean wouldn't the field be covered in snow?

Xinyu M.  asked on  Dec 7, 2011

A:

Yes we are still open during the winter. We have an indoor arena that we use in the winter and also in the summer on rainy days. So class's never get cancelled due to poor weather.

Q:

Hi, I was just wondering how the 60 minute lesson works. Do we get to spend the majority of the time on the horse?

Charmayne Y.  asked on  Dec 7, 2011

A:

Hello Charmayne, The breakdown of the lesson is as follows; -5-introduction to the sport of polo, history and rules 5-20- Ball hitting technique (hitting the polo ball with the supplied mallets) learning different shots used in the game 20-40- Hitting the ball off the wooden horses, learning proper positioning on the horse. 40-60- Riding the real horses and trying to hit the ball at a walk. Hope this helps. Cheers, The Polo Org

Q:

Can this be booked on a weekend or it this a weekday offer? I'm from the Nottawasaga Resort and have posted your deal to our Twitter followers thinking guests may be interested in making this a weekend.

Leslie T.  asked on  Dec 5, 2011

A:

Hello Leslie, The lessons can be booked weekdays or on weekends. We also have adult camps and host events at our place for larger or corporate groups. We should get in touch to see what other collaborations we can do with the resort. You probably already know this but we are located 5 min away from Nottawasaga. So i think there could be some interesting opportunities. Regards, Fernando M
