Published photography authors and educators Sheila and Robert Hurth helm Tiffany Photographic Studio’s shuttersmiths, capturing group dynamics and intimate moments alike within a spacious studio. Bands of up to 10 friends, family members, or Barbra Streisand impersonators bound on set for group sessions, letting a seasoned photographer artfully position them into handsome portraits. After snapping the winning image, experts usher film into the on-site darkroom. Picture posses hang their single 8”x10” image in a communal area for frequent admiration, and sets of photo holiday cards gift faraway loved ones with seasons greetings and the knowledge that their family still has all of its teeth.
For a romantic gift that showcases womanly prowess, boudoir portraits explore each subject’s allure and seduction within a private, one-hour session. Centerfolds disrobe to their own degree of comfort, draping themselves in swimsuits, lingerie, or suit of 15th-century armor. Afterward, the session’s best shot emblazons a tasteful 8”x10” print.
Tiffany Photographic Studio
Husband and wife team Sheila and Robert Hurth co-own Tiffany Photographic Studio, helming a full service staff of 10. Together, they distill three-dimensional beauty into contemporary images that pop before plain studio backdrops or vivid sets. With four decades of experience under their shutter fingers, the Hurths supervise charmingly posed family portraits, adorable shots of toddlers and infants amid whimsical props, and event photos snapped on location at weddings or bar mitzvahs. Their studio uses state of the art digital technology, retouching and printing photographs in-house for a quick postsession turnaround. When not standing behind the camera, the Hurths teach photo seminars in Fort Lauderdale and the Carolinas and spend their free time authoring tutorial books and videos on boudoir photography, portraiture, and how to get a close-up shot of a black hole.
