Q:

If a month of classes is purchased for one child, does the membership cover the whole family so that their sibling(s) could also attend open gym?

Andrea K.  asked on  Dec 13, 2012

A:

Hi Andrea, The non-enrolled child will cost $10/visit for Playgym and must be between 0-5, unless the child is an infant in a carrier or car seat. But the non-enrolled child won't have to pay a membership fee if you ever decide to enroll that child in classes.

Q:

Question about purchasing the sibling deal: I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old. Would they each do a different class? If I can bring them to different classes, is there a drop-off option for the 4 year old or can his little sister accompany him?

Darla E.  asked on  Dec 12, 2012

A:

Hi Darla, You have a few options. First, you could bring them both together to Family Gymboree class, which is a 45 minute Play & Learn class for kids 0-5, or youu could all 3 also come to Family Music or Family Art. Or if you wanted quality time with your kids individually, you could bring the 2-year-old to her age-appropriate Play & Learn class, which you would attend with her. And then your son could be dropped off at our School Skills class, which is for kids ages 3-5. This Groupon 2-class deal is a great way to try either option. Please look at our schedule at the location of your choice: www.gymboreeclasses.com, and it will help you determine which class works best for your children. You can also call us at 512-444-9626, and we can walk you through it. The phones have been really busy with this deal today, so if you leave a message, we will call back asap. Thanks!

Q:

I am trying to determine if it would be worth signing my 4 year old son up... who already goes to school from 8-12 every week day. I found a list of classes at the South Lamar location, and I want to know which classes he can go to using this Groupon. Thanks!

Kristi C.  asked on  Dec 12, 2012

A:

Hi Kristi, We have a GREAT program for 3-5-year-olds. The School Skills class is a 2-hour dropoff class, where we cover topics such as science and art, along with letter recognition, early handwriting skills, and cooperative play time. The goal is to enhance their social skills to help them transition to kindergarten easily. At the South Lamar location we offer School Skills from 2-4 on Monday afternoons. Using your Groupon in School Skills is the best value, because the longer, 2-hour class is normally $119/month! Also for 3-5-year-olds we have Art III (dropoff program), Music, Sports, and Family Gymboree (mixed ages).

Q:

Are there any contracts associated with this groupon or can I use it for one month and then stop without any penalty. Will I have the option to resume at anytime on a month to month basis?

Farrah G.  asked on  Dec 12, 2012

A:

You can use the Groupon by itself, with no contract for additional classes, and you can resume later if you like. However, if you choose to enroll long-term during the time you are using the Groupon, we have an additional special offer good only for Groupon customers.

Q:

I have several questions! I was enrolled about a year ago. Can I use my groupon? Can I come to playgyms while I'm enrolled through my groupon? Do I get a free preview class with my groupon? Can I use my groupon for a birthday party? Thank you!

Laura s.  asked on  Dec 11, 2012

A:

Hi Laura, The Groupon is for new members and includes the membership fee. However, if you were previously enrolled that long ago, we would love to have you back, and you are welcome to use the Groupon. And yes, you can come to unlimited Playgyms during your enrollment. Unfortunately you cannot use the Groupon for a birthday party or merchandise.
