If Gyro's House had a slogan, it might be, "Do one thing and do it well." The restaurant's cooks focus most of their attention on gyros and continue to refine their execution of the dish. First, they fry falafels or roast traditional gyro meat or souvlaki to perfection, then the cradle the finished product in pillowy pita bread. Dollops of yogurt sauce and fresh vegetables complete each gyro, and sides, such as tabouli and baba ghanouj, round out meals. Occasionally, the cooks veer from gyros to make comfort foods such as pizza puffs and fish and chips or cloak chilly diners in warm, oversized pita pockets.
