Q:

If upgrading to a keyless entry remote/ remote start on ONE remote unit, will my current keyless entry/lock still work independent of the your system (avital 4113 )? And, will the installed unit be completely undetectable (aside from looking under the hood or under the dash)? This would be on a 2008/2009 Honda Element.

Justin T.  asked on  Nov 19, 2012

A:

the factory keyless will not work independently while remote started. so you just use the aftermarket keyless to unlock and lock. All you see is an antenna above mirror.

Q:

I would like information for 2 vehicles. One is a 2009 F-150 Lariat - would it require the bypass and does it affect the electronic locks on the vehicle? The second vehicle (a gift) is a 2010 Escape - does it require the bypass and does is affect the locks. What would be the additional cost to add heat to the leather seat (s)? Thanks

Joy S.  asked on  Nov 19, 2012

A:

2009 ford f-150- yes it would need module and no it wouldnt affect door locks. You will carry 2 remotes. For an extra 25 you can step into next module that adds keyless so you only have to carry one remote. same goes for the escape as well. To add heated seats it is 200 per seat. Thanks

If you only have one key i can use a module for 85 and programm with 1 or you can go to dealership and get one made and then module would only be 70.
