Our family business has been providing quality hair and beauty services since our first locations, dating back to 1970. Here at Haircutter in the Meadow since 1982, we are staffed with NJ-licensed, professional hair stylists with at least 10 years of experience in the industry. We take pride in offering our services to the community at large.
Throughout the past four decades, it has not been uncommon for us to service celebrities, musicians, airplane pilots, airline personnel, corporate executives and office personnel, M.L.B. and N.F.L. players, and townspeople alike at this Harmon Meadow Plaza location in media central, Secaucus, NJ, fifteen minutes outside of Midtown Manhattan.
Mainstream media attention for our "Japanese Straightening Treatments," which began around 1999, continues to follow us today. We only use LISCIO hair products for our Japanese Straightening / Thermal Reconditioning treatments, and in the hands of our two Japanese Straightening technicians, Hikaru and Min, your hair will look soft and silky straight for six months to one year.
Later in 2002, we forged a similar path with our "Brazilian Keratin Treatment" as well, and both services continue to generate momentum in addition to all services listed on our service menu, at the behest of client referrals. In fact, in all of my many years of being born (literally) into this family business, I have learned that hair is of paramount importance on a profound personal level for people, and justifiably so. Client referrals are by far the main driver of all salon momentum, for the salon business is a true democracy, perhaps a sobering model of democracy to behold, within the construct of a modern community.
