About A Chat with Hall County Karate Flowery Branch

What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
We are the only Karate school in Flowery Branch to remain true to the traditional roots of the martial arts--training for self-defense. Our instructor has over 30 years of experience teaching martial arts. We are also a veteran-owned and local business.

What equipment is provided? Is there anything visitors need to bring?
Visitors should dress in something that will allow them to move freely. Nothing else is needed, except a desire to train.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I started training over 30 years ago with my father, who had trained Aikido in Japan and Karate in Okinawa after WWII. I found that it gave me discipline needed to excel in college, kept me fit , and was very useful during my own military career. Now, I want to bring those same benefits to others.

What do you love most about your job?
I love the family atmosphere and positive attitude of the community of traditional martial arts, and I love keeping those traditions alive and passing them on to the next generation of martial artists.
