What You'll Get
Halloween allows all of mankind to become something else for a day, which is long enough to realize that being a papier-mâché avocado isn't what it's cracked up to be. Become something other than human with today's Groupon: for $15, you get $30 worth of Halloween costumes, accessories, and decorations at Halloween Express, valid at locations in Borders Shopping Center in Farmington, next to Westfarms Mall, and Wethersfield Shopping Center in Wethersfield, just off Exit 24 from I-91, next to the Bed, Bath & Beyond.
The trained consultants at Halloween Express help visitors sift through hundreds of premade costumes and assemble ghoulish getups with a collection of makeup, hats, and wigs. Ladies express their appreciation for the liberal arts with the Crayola Tickle Me Pink crayon costume ($39.99), and infants don the Lil' Monster costume to instantly become creatures of terrifying cuteness ($49.99). Include the family pet in the festivities with a doggy devil costume ($14.99), or pair a Slytherin robe ($32.99) with a Gryffindor scarf ($24.99) for the scariest of fashion faux pas. Decorative witch brooms make eerie additions to front patios and janitorial closets ($12.99 each), and a glow-in-the-dark skull ($8.99) provides ample light to the inside of a pitch-black candy bag.
Prices may vary between Halloween Express locations.

About Halloween Express
Joining the witness-protection program is the best way to disguise your identity, but the vast array of costumes at Halloween Express gives the program a run for its money. For more than two decades, the chain’s 300+ stores have supplied customers with costumes year-round from vampire capes for Halloween to Caesar togas for the Ides of March.
In preparation for the fall of 2012, they’ve added new items to their Halloween collection. These costumes range from fuzzy blue monsters to skeleton zombies and can transform groups of four into Raggedy Andy and three clones spawned from his DNA. The store’s party supplies add a spooky touch to festivities and include tombstones, rotting pumpkins, and giant hairy spiders.
