About Halstead's Bar & Grill
Whether they're children enjoying dinner with their families or senior citizens dancing to the sounds of Ang Rubino Orchestra, owners John and Maria Muscatella want everyone to feel welcome at Halstead's Bar & Grill. By combining the best parts of a friendly neighborhood pub with elements of a bustling Italian family's kitchen, the Muscatellas create a warm, friendly restaurant that appeals to a wide demographic.
Halstead's Bar & Grill menu features American comfort food alongside hearty Italian fare. The eatery's chalkboard features a list of classic sandwiches, as well as more creative selections, such as the paesano burger, which is topped with crumbled sausage and onions. Meanwhile, a brick oven fires the crust of margherita pizzas while chefs craft Italian pasta dishes such as penne alla vodka, linguine in clam sauce, and ravioli marinara.
Part of what makes Halstead's clientele so diverse is the restaurant's lineup of entertainers. One Friday, cover band Powderfinger may perform a host of classic-rock favorites, whereas comedian Vic Dibitetto may take the stage the next night. In addition to live performances, the eatery's calendar is also filled with special events, including paint nights and its annual charity poker tournament.
