Hands On Children's Museum
As one of the largest children's museum in the Pacific Northwest, Hands On Children's Museum celebrates play and believes it is essential for healthy childhood development. The museum is a great place to visit year-round, offering a fabulous arts & parts studio, MakeSpace, Snug Harbor early learning center (birth- 4yrs), and eight themed galleries heavily influenced by the beautiful Pacific Northwest setting, with more than 150 hands-on exhibits. The Outdoor Discovery Center offers a half-acre of outdoor exhibits, which expands the opportunities for play and learning. Hands On exhibits are all about interactive learning, whether that means role playing at a farmers market, operating a play fire engine, climbing a tree house, or building a flying machine. These activities are focused on healthy living, the arts, building, and outdoor exploration. When it comes to fun and learning, Hands On is “the place to go.”
