About Hanna's Herb Shop

In 1957, there was no such thing as a health food store in Boulder. In fact, most of America assumed the words "health food store" referred to the local red-meat milk-shake shack. But that all changed when Hanna Kroeger opened what is now known as Hanna's Herb Shop.

With her passion for whole grains, nuts, and the restorative powers of European and American herbs, Hanna earned the nickname "the Grandmother of Health" for her efforts in the field of natural health care. More than half a century later, the shop adheres to Hanna's simple mission statement, "Help Each Other," with a hearty inventory of all-natural vitamins, supplements, and health products. Add to that a knowledgeable staff that's eager to help customers achieve optimum health through traditional and alternative therapies.
