They add fees for everything without informing the customer or any signs and then add on automatic gratuity for using your Groupon also without informing the customer and then when you question your charges you are confronted with attitude and saying people who use Groupon should know. I will never go to this establishment again. Be informed you will be charged about 10 dollars in fees.

This is not a "grill" it is a bar. We had to turn on our phone flashlight to read the menu, and then dodge pool cues while trying to order. They refused to honor our coupon because there were only 2 of us, even though we were willing to order 4 entrees. Now they have marked it as redeemed even though we didn't redeem it. Total rip off.

Fun place! A quintessential Texas bar with a great food selection. Will be back. The only thing that should have been better was the home made potato chips. They needed to cook another minute or two. They were hot, but certainly not crisp.

This is a bar. My wife’s chicken tenders were store bought, heavily breaded chicken tenders from frozen and overpriced. My hamburger was fine. The bar smelled like cigarette smoke so we ate out back. Beware, they charged us a gratuity and a Happy Cow fee in addition to tax.

There’s something quite ethereal that I can’t exactly place when it comes to eating at happy cow it’s like you step into another universe and the hamburgers are super yummy the waitresses are super awesome and professional and they’re playing music that you actually might’ve heard of

About Happy Cow Bar & Grill

A sense of whimsy pervades just about every aspect of Happy Cow Bar & Grill. Not only does it promote itself as "the only bar in Hunter, TX with indoor plumbing," but it also hosts eclectic events such as pre-noon happy hour and "cow-e-oke." Then there's the restaurant's name, an ironic choice given the kitchen's specialty: beef burgers topped with all the classic fixings. In keeping with the spot's emphasis on fun, cooks also whip up nostalgic comfort foods like homemade potato Cow Chips, and tater tots loaded with chili, bacon, and cheese.
