Q:

If our two boys aren't quite tall enough to ride solo on the trail (49" and 55") would they be allowed to ride with my husband and I, as long as together we don't exceed the weight limit for the horses? If so, would I purchase a two voucher (my husband and I with the kids riding with us) or a four voucher option? Thank you!

Barbara S.  asked on  Dec 8, 2012

A:

Riders need to be 4.6 feet tall to ride on the trail but we do have a trail ride lesson program for children who do not meet the height requirements. You can use your voucher for a trail ride lesson or trail ride. :)

Q:

Does any part of the ride include allowing the horses to gallop or is this just a walking session? Thank you!

Howard S.  asked on  Dec 7, 2012

A:

This coupon is for a walking trail ride. If you are interested in our Early Bird fast paced ride you could upgrade your walking trail for $20.00 per rider. Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with. We look forward to riding with you!

Q:

Would an 11 year old who meets the height requirements be able to upgrade to the Early Bird ride?

Kelly D.  asked on  Dec 6, 2012

A:

Absolutely! The Early Bird is a blast and we also get to groom the horses beforehand. If your child is very interested in horses then this would be a great ride! Look forward to sharing our farm and horses with your family.

Q:

Can parents see their children on the trail? How does that part usally work?

Elaine P.  asked on  Dec 5, 2012

A:

Parents can see their child in the trail ride lesson. You can use your voucher for a lesson instead of a trail ride if you would like. The children really love the lesson program. We look forward to riding with your family :)

Q:

Can a young child (age 2) ride with an adult? I recently had my son ride with me at a stable in GA. He was strapped on my back in a carrier (and Ergo, to be exact, if you have seen them). Is that allowed? If not, would he be allowed to ride in the lesson program?

Stephanie C.  asked on  Dec 5, 2012

A:

We would love to have him in our lesson program if you would be willing to spot him in the lesson. The lessons are super fun and include things like grooming. Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with. We look forward to riding with you!
