Popularized by outlaw country artists like Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson, the Red Dirt music scene -- which combines elements of Americana, folk, and honky tonk with traditional country song craft -- has found a new star in Texas country singer-songwriter Cory Morrow. The Texas native has sold over 200,000 albums, first bursting onto the scene with his 2002 release Outside the Lines, which reached No. 28 on Billboard's Country Album chart and No. 7 on SoundScan's Country Debut Artists list. Now the countrified troubadour brings his band to Harlow's Restaurant and Nightclub in Sacramento to play selections from his new album The Good Fight.
