About Harold's Chicken

The owners of Harold's Chicken Shack were already in the restaurant industry in 1950 when they adapted a recipe for chicken feet and dumplings to fried chicken. Before the year was out, they had opened a new restaurant named Harold's Chicken Shack, and the franchise took off from there.

Today, Harold's Chicken Shack is a Chicago institution with locations all across the city.
