A Chat with Harpist Rebekah Grace
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Rebekah Grace was the principal harpist for the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas, taught music for 11 years, and directed the harp ensemble "String of Pearls." She has provided music for hundreds of events ranging from church services, to weddings and private parties. Flute accompanist available.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Harp is a rare instrument, and people often would like to have live music at their event, but harpists are few and far between. I began playing professionally to meet the need for live music for various events.
What do you love most about your job?
Music, to me, is the language of love, and when I play the harp for any event, I view it as a way to be a blessing to the listeners and brighten their day.
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
"Your music was so excellent and beautiful. I felt like I was listening to an angel!" "The harp and flute added the perfect touch of elegance and beauty to our wedding. Thank you for making our day so special! We were so thrilled!" "The music at my mother's funeral was so comforting; thank you!"
