From its explosive violence to its tragic young-lover protagonists, Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet is tailor-made for the ballet, which is probably why it's long been one of classical ballet's most beloved works. Now, The State Ballet Theatre of Russia brings the warring Capulets and Montagues to life at Harris Theater in Chicago's Millennium Park. Set to the timelessly beautiful score by Sergei Prokofiev, this full-scale production is choreographed by Bolshoi Theatre Ballet choreographer Michael Lavrovsky and features 55 of Russia's brightest stars of ballet.
