Just starting its third season, Visceral Dance Chicago has definitely lived up to its name, with its bold, instinctual style of contemporary dance – and the world outside of the Windy City has begun to take notice. The company was named to Dance Magazine’s prestigious “25 to Watch” list for 2015, and now they’ll be returning to the stage at the Harris Theater in Millennium Park for a world premiere from the company’s artistic director Nick Pupillo. Also on the bill is a reprise of last year’s emotional Duet Mabul by famed Israeli choreographer Ohad Naharin, along with the company premiere of Fernando Melo’s Bate. The Chicago Sun-Times raves, “the buzz about this troupe is more than justified.”
