Q:

Are the kayaks stable enough for beginners?

James R.  asked on  May 5, 2012

A:

HI James, Beginners are usually quite comfortable in our kayaks. That doesn't mean that there isn't a possibility that you could fall out, but our guides are trained in the proper rescue techniques and can get you to shore or back in your kayak with a matter of minutes. If you're scared of falling in- book for late Summer when the water is a bit less frigid and a swim would be more welcoming!

Hi we are wanting to take our 8 & 6 year old girls. Do you think this would be safe for them?

Debbie N.  asked on  May 3, 2012

A:

Hi Debbie, Unless you have prior kayaking experience then we will not permit you to take your children. This would also be based on the availability of our double kayaks.
