What You'll Get
Until mankind first stepped outside in 1934, nature was thought to be a fanciful myth, like yogurt or the clutch hitter. Spend a few hours frolicking through the salty air of truth with today's Groupon.
Choose from Three Options
- $44, you get a two-hour surf lesson for one (an $89 value).
- $87, you get a two-hour surf lesson for two (a $178 value).
- $174, you get a two-hour surf lesson for four (a $356 value).
The skilled instructors of Hawaiian Surf Adventures teach wave-seeking students to glide across the sea without worrisome crowds or competition. After a 30-minute land lesson that outlines the tonalities of traditional dolphin greetings, instructors lead small groups of surfers aboard a private surfboat for a 20-minute ride to an isolated surf break. At the remote, crowd-less surf spot, students hop on their boards––all provided by Hawaiian Surf Adventures––and paddle about the cerulean deep. They spend a full hour flitting about the ocean’s swells and avoiding the occasional Charybdis, all under the watchful eye and tutelage of expert wave catchers. Instructors can snap photos to commemorate the experience for an additional fee ($30).

About Hawaiian Surf Adventures
The enthusiastic wave-tamers at Hawaiian Surf Adventures infuse students with their waterlogged passions for surfing and standup paddleboarding along the southeast shore as well as Hawaiian canoeing . With access to areas such as the uncrowded waters of Maunalua Bay, instructors give their students the space needed to learn how to balance atop a board while riding the backs of white-crested, aqua-blue waves or vacationing Loch Ness monsters. Whether paddling surfboards, hanging ten, or navigating a Hawaiian canoe, the team makes adventures easy for beginners and informative for more seasoned watersports enthusiasts.
