can the ultrasound be used on the neck area?

Hi Lynette, the merchant says: "There are different kinds of Ultrasound equipment and their purpose is different, as well. A Sonogram or Diagnostic Ultrasound Scan produces a sonic wave that is very safe to see the inside of joints and organs like the heart, reproductive system, and a baby in uterus. Therapeutic Ultrasounds produce an average of 1 to 3 MHz sound waves. They are mainly used in rehabilitation and physical therapy to diminish pain and inflammation of the muskulo-skeletal system (for treatment of mucle spasms, sprains/strains, scar tissue, etc…). Ultrasonic Cavitation produces strong sound waves of up to 40 MHz, which go deeper in to the fat layer. Ultrasonic Cavitation is a non invasive, safe and painless modality to explode fat cells and allow the liquefied fatty deposits to be handled in some part by the lymphatic system and excreted through urine and feces. It will not be safe to do Ultrasonic Cavitation on the neck, because of the very delicate and vital neuro-vascular components (like spinal cord, jugular vein, carotid artery, punctus nervosum, cranial nerves, trachea, etc…) and the thyroid gland. At Health & Hope Institute we offer other safe and effective options to diminish fat around neck and below chin area and to increase tonicity of the skin in the neck area and deco latté region, like mesotherapy, vitamin and plasma injections, micro-current stimulation, massage, natural skin care products and dermal rollers."
