Q:

I have Fibromyalgia and while compensating for pain in my left lower back threw off the alignment of my hips by a good inch. Have been getting some Myofacial massage -- would you be able to work in a similar way in the same area (lower left back/hip -- that seems to be the center of the pain that then radiates)? Thanks.

A:

Thanks for your interest! Please call Health Source Chiropractic directly at the location of your choice, as they may need more information to determine if they can provide the appropriate massage for you.

Q:

Is this type of service Billed as a chiropractor service and therefore covered by an fsa account?

Melissa s.  asked on  Nov 12, 2012

A:

The $29 is for the massage. The health screening is free. If you decide to schedule a chiropractic exam, this will be billed to your health insurance company. If you want to know what service is eligible for your FSA account, you need to call them directly. Hope this helps. Thank you.

Q:

I have insurance that pays for chiro, probably cheaper for me to use insurance, How would you apply the Groupon ???

Janet R.  asked on  Nov 12, 2012

A:

The $ 29 is the payment for the therapeutic massage. The health screening is free. After that if you decide to schedule a chiropractic exam that will be chargeable and billed to your insurance. Depends of availability you can schedule your chiro exam same day. Thank you.

Q:

What exactly is the Community Health Screening that is included free. Is it like a physical that your regular doctor gives? Is it a full exam including prostrate, or just a quick screening.

Michael P.  asked on  Nov 12, 2012

A:

It is a check up of the structure and function of the spine. It will only take a few minutes and the chiropractor can advise the LMT to give you a better massage. Also, I recommend you to call the clinic for your specific question. A lot of people don't know the connection beween the spine and overall health.

Q:

Is this is just a straightforward massage for 1 hour or are adjustments and manipulations done? Can you request deep tissue massage only?

Caroline P.  asked on  Nov 11, 2012

A:

The voucher comes with a free health screening not adjustment for only a few minutes. Yes you can get a deep tissue massage.
