Getting kids to eat their vegetables would be easier if it didn't involve exposing sensitive tongues to unfamiliar tastes and patiently explaining the biochemical structure of every vitamin. Immerse your wee ones in good health and good times with today's Groupon: for $25, you get a one-year Best Buddy membership for up to six family members (a $50 value) at Healthworks! Kids' Museum downtown. All children must be accompanied by an adult, and all adults must be accompanied by a child during general-admission visits.
Healthworks! Kids' Museum incites healthy habits with an exciting kaleidoscope of interactive exhibits designed to nurture good choices for young lives. Bright colors and kid-friendly surfaces surround such attractions as a colossal game of Operation and a climbing wall that lets anatomically inspired children imagine they're scaling the arm a giant. Humongous eyeballs stare across oversize sets of molars within an open layout that keeps tomorrow's brain surgeons and today's teddy-bear surgeons bouncing from one information-packed display to the next.
On the first Friday of every month, Healthworks! Kids' Museum stays open into the evening for a slate of special family activities, such as demonstrations of skills that kids can take home and show off to their imaginary friends. The museum's events calendar is stocked with a variety of extra fun, such as an Easter-appropriate Egg-Stravaganza. The Best Buddy membership grants general admission to the museum for a year, as well as admission to certain special events, but camps and other special museum programs may require additional registration fees.

About HealthWorks! Kids' Museum
Kids can’t be expected to care about their health when video games, cartoons, and unhealthy snacks are vying for their attention. Memorial Hospital of South Bend devised a plan to get kids excited about health: HealthWorks! Kids’ Museum. Born of the founders’ desire to foster a healthier current and future community, the museum appeals to youngsters through educational forms of entertainment. Its exhibits incorporate amplified versions of many of kids’ favorite pastimes, including a life-sized rendition of Operation and numerous computer games. A skin-climbing wall and tree house with a slide encourage kids to learn through movement, which is exactly how adults learn how to escape charging bulls. Youngsters can explore the space with their families or partake in programs such as children's camps.
