During the coed boot camp, seminar-size groups meet in the morning or evening three times a week with nationally certified fitness experts for 60-minute sessions. Boot campers can commune with nature when weather permits or retreat to indoor facilities during rainstorms or when there are swarms of locusts. Classes incorporate fitness assessments with plyometrics, yoga, and martial-arts training to tone frames without boring muscles.

Heart In Sol

Founder Patrick Willard keeps the gym open to everyone and leads a team of nationally certified fitness experts to teach everything from Zumba to martial arts and yoga. Trainers motivate clients during small-group boot camps, swift 30-minute circuit-training classes, or one-on-one training sessions. Nutrition seminars supplement the sweating by preventing budding bodybuilders from undermining their gains by falling prey to unhealthy diets of cement sandwiches.
