Q:

Can this offer be used at both the Blaine and Maple Grove locations or do all the classes need to be taken at one location? Do this Groupon apply to any of the yoga classes offered at Heat Yoga or only certain ones?

Kirsten H.  asked on  Mar 28, 2013

A:

Hi! Thanks so much for your inquiry! Your Groupon is good at our Blaine and our Maple Grove locations and you can take any class on the schedule! The only classes that are not included in your Groupon are our Workshops. They are not part of our regular class schedule. Can't wait to meet you and assist you in your journey to health, wellness, strength, toning and calm! Call if you have any other questions and be sure to visit our website and like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter. Namaste~ Lisa Hart

Q:

Are these classes appropriate for beginners? I've a very old muscle tear, from running, though the injury occurred many years ago and after two knee surgeries running is no longer an option. I'm currently doing rehabilitation on the scar tissue that formed around the tear and I'm wondering if yoga might be useful for core strengthening as well as my rehabilitation. I'm 63 and need something doable for starters for weight loss, strengthening, flexibility that will help me continue rehabilitating the area (piriformis muscle) on my own, and the rest of me as well, I guess.

A:

Hi! You will benefit greatly from this practice. You will strengthen, lengthen, cleanse and balance your whole body! I encourage you to let your instructor know at the beginning of class that you are trying to rehab from your running injury. He or she will be happy to answer any questions you have. This is a very doable practice for every single body type or limitation. Our Heat A and Heat B, Restorative and Gentle Flow classes are appropriate for all practice levels. We look forward to meeting you! Namaste~ Lisa Hart

Q:

Do all the classes have to be taken within a 30 day period?

Roberta K.  asked on  Mar 29, 2013

A:

Hey Robin, no you don't have to use all the sessions in a 30 day period. The Groupon 10 class pass has a 90 day expiration date and the 20 class pass has 6 month expiration from the date you use the 1st class. So you can purchase and bring voucher on the first visit and we can add the classes onto your account and you can use them for the classes of your choice. If you have questions check out the website www.heatyogastudio.com or call us anytime. Hope to see you soon Namaste Sam

Q:

I think I have the info I need, but want to clarify. It says I have 180 days for the deal.. so as long as I sign up for the first class with in that 180 days, I then have the pass to continue using even after the 180 days. I ask because I am rehabbing from shoulder surgery and the shoulder also froze so I am a bit behind on shoulder functionality. I still need to gain a great deal of range of motion. To get the most out of the yoga I would like it to be workng better along with strength so I can at least do the basic poses. I think I need to wait a couple months to start.

Sheryl E.  asked on  Mar 31, 2013

A:

Hi Sheryl, you will have 6 months (180 days) to redeem the voucher in the studio after you purchase and we will add the sessions to your account. Once the sessions are in your yoga account there is a 90 day expiration date on the 10 class pass, and 6 month expiration date on the 20 class pass. The heated rooms and the poses will be great for strength and stability of an injury but take the practice as safely as you can so you can continue to practice long term. More Questions and Answers

Q:

I have another question. Perhaps more. I asked earlier about rehabilitation. I'm also 63 and have stents in one coronary artery, is heat yoga safe with a cardiovascular issue? Also, is there a fixed time I'd have to begin as I'm in a course of rehabilitation now and my time is somewhat limited, so beginning in a month or so would likely be necessary. Also, this probably is on your website, what equipment would I need get before beginning? Thanks!

gene j.  asked on  Apr 2, 2013

A:

Hello Gene, It is good to hear from you again! I hope that you are doing well with your rehabilitation. I think that it would be best, as with any new exercise, that you consult with your physician prior to coming to your first hot class. We want for you to get all of the health benefits that come with this practice and we want for you to be safe. When you do get the go ahead from your physician, please call the studio and we will get you signed up for class. When you come to class, bring a mat if you have one, if not we have them here to rent for $1. Bring a bath or beach sized towel, a hand towel and a bottle of water. We look forward to meeting you, Gene. Take care. Namaste~ Lisa Hart

Q:

Hello! I signed up for the trial (10 sessions I believe) 2 summers ago. Am I eligible to get this Groupon or am I not considered a new client?

Alicia L.  asked on  Apr 2, 2013

A:

Hello Alicia! Thank you for your inquiry. As long as you have only done the $10 first week introductory offer, you are good to go on purchasing the groupon. If you would like to find out exactly what you purchased, please give the studio a call and I will be happy to look it up for you. Namaste~ Lisa Hart
