Helicopters are superior to planes in almost every way: vertical takeoff and landing, ability to maneuver in any direction, and more likely to deposit Green Day outside your high school because they heard there was “a pretty cool prom goin’ down.” Let your dreams soar with this Groupon.

During the New Yorker tour, copters take sightseers over New York Harbor and get so close to the Statue of Liberty that passengers can see her perfectly sculpted nose hairs. The chopper then takes in views of famous locations such as the Empire State Building, Central Park, and the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. The ultimate tour extends the sightseeing as it cruises up the Hudson River toward the George Washington Bridge and over landmarks such as Columbia University and Yankee Stadium (on non-game days). The deluxe tour incorporates everything in the New Yorker and ultimate tours as well as destinations such as Coney Island and the manmade Hoffman Island. See more information on each tour here.
Helicopter Flight Services
The trained staff at Helicopter Flight Services takes joy in the look on their guests' faces as they experience New York City from a vantage point few ever get to experience. Journeys begin flying over the Newark International Airport towards Manhattan en route to the New York Harbor, catching sights of the illuminated Statue of Liberty and the skyscrapers of the financial district, home to The New York Stock Exchange. Then, going north along the East River, the Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Williamsburg bridges stand majestic in the waters as guests see the famous Empire State and Chrysler buildings, as well as the United Nations headquarters, the lights of Brooklyn and Queens, the home of baseball's Mets at Citi Field, and LaGuardia Airport in the distance. Photo opportunities abound as the helicopter soars right over Central Park and the heart of Manhattan, with the Rockefeller Center and the lights of Times Square in the distance, before passing Columbus Circle and down the Hudson River, taking in the famous Manhattan skyline.
On the return to the landing pad at Linden Airport, guests will see Madison Square Garden, Hudson Yards, Chelsea, West Village, Soho, and Tribeca, as well as the September 11 memorial and Freedom Tower, as well as catching a second glance of the Empire State Building and another pass by the Statue of Liberty.
