A Chat with Heritage Film Project
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
You seen our work in PBS, Public Libraries, college campuses, and film festivals. We bring to the screen the lives of extraordinary individuals, veterans, community leaders, poets and artist. Our clients include the University of Virginia, James Madison Montpellier, The Independent + Deutsch Welle.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
As independent filmmakers we thrive to continue making documentaries on extraordinary individuals such as Julian Bond and Rita Dove. We believe this business will help us remain independent. Profits from this initiative will be allocated to the production of a new film on African American Studies.
What do you love most about your job?
As a photojournalist and a documentarian my goal is to register on images the true nature of our people. To me, photography is more than just a way of life, is a passion for documenting time and space, extraordinary life, and institutions. We’re all worthy of a master portrait.
What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer?
